2006

      The 1st China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival opened at the Communication University of China with the [Aniwow! 2006] annual award. The ASIFA （Association International du Film dAnimation) has set up a special ASIFA China Award for this years animation festival.

2007

      The 2nd China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival and 2007 National New Media Art Department Chair (Dean) Forum was held. “SIGGRAPH2007” special exhibition and “80 Years of Chinese Animation Classic Film Retrospective Exhibition” were well received.

2008

      The 3rd China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival created a new model of media association for the academy, with multiple interactions to create multi-dimensional communication. It also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Science Education Film Studio, Shanghai Animation Film Studio, and Sheridan College. At the same time, the Chinese animation art exhibition museum, and our school stop-motion animation joint laboratory were inaugurated.

2009

       The fourth Animation Festival, the opening ceremony of the China Animation Art Exhibition Museum and the inauguration ceremony of the second phase of HP Education Center were successfully held. 2009 International Animation and Digital Media Art Education Forum was successfully held, with the addition of the “Explore the DreamWorks Studios series of master’s lectures.

2010

      The 5th China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival, the launching ceremony of HP Education Center and Creation Workshop of the School of Animation and Digital Arts, and the awarding ceremony of part-time professors and creation tutors were successfully held. For the first time, China Telecom has partnered with the Animation Festival to create a special award at the festival.

2011

       During the [Aniwow! 2011], a forum was held on the theme of Ecology, Education and Art. Special events included the 10th anniversary of the School of Animation and Digital Arts of the Communication University of China, the International Animation Education and Industry Forum, and the premiere of international joint animation works. In addition, Chinas first three-dimensional special effects film on traditional art themes, shot and produced by the School of Animation and Digital Arts, was present
