Special Event Announcement
This edition of Aniwow! China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival has entered into a deep collaboration with BILIBILI! During the festival, the two parties will jointly present the “BILIBILI Light Catcher Project” Special Screening Program and the “BILIBILI Light Catcher Masterclass” dedicated event, supporting the growth and creative expression of young animation creators. At the festival’s closing ceremony, BILIBILI will also host a dedicated segment to officially unveil the “BILIBILI Light Catcher Project Commercial Potential Rising Star.”

Light Catcher’s Animation Talk
As a special Light Catcher Project session during the 21st Aniwow! China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival, this event centers on a creator-sharing session for bilibili’s original animation project False Memory. It is designed for animation students, emerging creators, and industry professionals. The session aims to build a bridge between young creators and the industry and to connect university animation education with industry practice.

Jian Dan, producer of False Memory
Founder and Producer of StudioTumble, and Producer at Flint Sugar, responsible for the production of the original animated series False Memory and the original animated film SHADOW DIVER.
Li Shuyu, director of False Memory
Founder of Flintsugar. He studied at Sichuan Conservatory of Music from 2016 to 2019. Between 2018 and 2019, he took on roles including director, storyboard artist and key animator for the animated shorts Mobius and Undetectable Box produced by 717 Animation Studio.In 2020, he founded Flintsugar. For the animated short False Memory, he served as director, storyboard artist, screenwriter and key animator. The short won the Gold Award, Best Screenplay and Best Art Award at BILIBILI’s 2020 Cosmos project.In 2026, he acts as director, storyboard artist, screenwriter, chief animation supervisor and key animator for the animated series False Memory, co-developed by Flintsugar and Studio Tumble.
Blackline, director of False Memory
Founder of Flintsugar.In 2018, she worked as director and art designer for the animated short Mobius released by 717 Animation Studio.In 2019, she served as screenwriter, producer and art designer for the animated short Undetectable Box released by 717 Animation Studio.In 2020, she founded Flintsugar. For the animated short False Memory, she took on roles including director, screenwriter, storyboard artist, art designer and key animator. This short won the Gold Award, Best Screenplay and Best Art Award in BILIBILI’s 2020 Cosmos project.In 2026, she serves as director, screenwriter, art supervisor and storyboard artist for the animated series False Memory, co-developed by Flintsugar and Studio Tumble.

Founder of Weird-Dog Media, graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, currently employed at the Animation Department of Guangxi Art University. Enlight Media Signs Animation Film Director. He received a nomination for the title of “China’s Young Animator” at the third annual awards, and has directed animation short films such as Bing Dwen Dwen New Year Animation/ Intangible Cultural Heritage Animation and What They Say.

Aniwow! Closing Ceremony
Discover rising stars, incubate imagination. Jointly established by BILIBILI Light Catcher Project and Aniwow!, this award identifies original animated works with strong commercial potential. Works are evaluated across four dimensions: production quality, worldbuilding and character design, originality and creativity, and commercial viability. Winners may enter the Light Catcher Project’s feature-length incubation pipeline, sign with bilibili, and receive follow-up development support—so imagination goes beyond imagination.
