ANIWOW! China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival is an international animation exchange activity as well as a professional award initiated by the Communication University of China, which is approved by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China in 2006. It aims to comprehensively improve the education and theoretical research level of animation and relevant disciplines in China, promote cross-cultural exchanges and cooperation between the East and the West, expand the international influence of animation education in China, and enhance China’s original animation creativity ANIWOW! always insists on exploring and cultivating young animation and new media talents with artistic ideals, collaborative and innovative spirits and refined artistic accomplishments. The goal is to practice the purpose of authoritative, original, academic and international, to organise regular sections such as White Poplar Awards competition, academic forums, masterclasses, screenings and special events.
